I know it’s been a while since I last wrote to you, dear Reader, but things have been very commonplace…until I crashed the car in the snow on Tuesday. Now that was very character-building stuff! I only whimpered for a minute or two and managed to ring my boss to sat that I wouldn't be able to get to the meeting after all – what a shame.
Calm down, dear. Don’t panic, I am unhurt – in fact, the insurance fiasco afterwards hurt a lot more than the bump. Yesterday (Friday) I finally got sorted out with a courtesy car to replace the biscuit tin on wheels that the hire company fobbed me off with – so much for driving a Chevy; mind you, it was better over the bumpy road than the Merc that they came to pick me up it.
Are you bored yet? I am. My sparkling whit and repartee have deserted me this evening. The Ritalin’s going OK, though – if this carries on, I may be able to rejoin the human race!
Oh, and the whole chicken thing is really exciting – that’s for tomorrow.
Sleep well, and lots of love and thanks to everyone who’s admitted to reading these rantings – you know who you are and I love you all (puke) – but that’s how they do it in the crafty world!
Let me just check to see if I've got anything to tantalise you tonight on the photography front…
Here we have an arty picture of the Blakeney sky by Mark; Joanna and the honorary Dyson, Swifty; Mount Beaker – I just can’t bear to see these things being thrown away, but I didn’t feel that same after I’d washed them all after a do at school; and, my personal favourite – MY BOTTOM!!!!! (it was quite a bit smaller in 2005 – I wouldn't try and frighten you with a recent shot, but the sun doesn’t get much of a look in any more)
See you soon.
Liz
